  I came to Asheboro on my way to Ohio,I stopped to visit with my nephew. A friend invited me to go to church with her and her mom .So I went knowing very little if anything about this church or their religion,I was raised Catholic my whole life. Anyway I went and the people at this church made me feel so welcome and that in itself is a task ,I am not the most confident person and I am hesitant at being the center of attention. The members of this church took me in made me feel wanted.I first said I would stay for two weeks ,then since I wasn't working I told him I would stay a year or two. See the more I went to this church the more I enjoyed it .Wanting to know more I began taking Bible study classes to see what I would learn,my Bible study teacher was the pastors wife.She was so patient as I learned,so now I go every week and if I do end up leaving North Carolina I would really miss this church ,my heart aches just thinking about leaving this area.But on a positive note I will still attend church as an active member wherever I end up.Pastor David Hutton is the most caring individual I have ever meet.His sermons are very informative.He has a way when he preaches to pull every single person in.The young adults are so involved and the little folks they are like a little sponge soaking in everything he says ,and after they all run up to him for a hug.On more than one occasion he has cried because he believes in everyone's much. I'm not sure if anyone is interested in this story but I have said on more than one occasion I truly have stayed this long because of this church,the church family, and of course the Pastor and his wife
